Media Theatre

In a time when attention is a scarce resource, a cultural change in stage production is needed to really get noticed.
And after a century of media theatre, a new arrival is long overdue:
VEPs, or Very Experienced Persons.

CIRCUS OF NOW focuses on transformations, emphasizing or blurring existing architectural and engineering structures as needed, creating a truly three-dimensional sense of space and action and conjuring emotions to create a truly memorable event. Our concept is derived from the idea of augmented reality. The media isn’t just a single factor – it’s the determining factor. And indeed, the medium is the message! CON selects the elements of communicative processes and gets them out into the open through innovative appearances and sounds. We receive, direct, seduce, excite and bring the audience back again without prejudice. The stage design itself is sculptural and optimized to the possibilities of display, allowing a whole new scope of production. We understand multimedia as the actual combination of form-giving elements such as projection, steel, water, fire, LEDs and artists.
